Which side will you take? The left side where there's nothing right? or The right side where there's nothing left?

I have a hard time coming up with things to write about the quote above... what do you think???

Or maybe we should just talk about weight loss pills. What's the best one for you? Why would you recommend it? If it was effective, are you continuously using them?

"Failure will never overtake me if my determination to succeed is strong enough." - Og Mandino

As the book entitled "The Little Engine that Could" -- "I can do it... I can do it!" Sometimes when things get rough, this is what I would tell myself, over and over again.

We should all learn from our mistakes and learn to move forward. Aim high, dream high, it's FREE after all! Then make it all come true with the determination to succeed.

I can never stop emphasizing how important it is to have medical coverage at work. This is one of the major reason that I stayed part-time with my current job.

If you don't have any coverage at work due to being casual or temporary employee, you might want to join The Federation of American Consumers and Travelers or FACT. Just by being a member, you can get dental discounts, eye care, discounted medications and a whole lot more.

We are all humans. And even the doctors can make mistake sometimes. I was just watching the reason episode of Grey's Anatomy and because of the merger, the interns has been fighting over patient and showing off who is better than who. And because of this "competitiveness" that's going on, a patient died because of a misdiagnose. If you were the family member of the patient, make sure you seek the help of Bronx medical malpractice lawyer and I'm pretty sure you will be able to find one in your city too. We need to get rid of these unprofessional doctors who doesn't care for the patients but only care for themselves.

Get busy living, or get busy dying. ~ by Stephen King
I'd rather get busy living.

I hate it when I say "I just don't have the time". It's true that sometimes I don't know where time went, but still, I try to make time for what's really important in my life - my husband, my kids and my family! Time is precious. Time is too short. One of us could be gone by tomorrow, so I try to live one day at a time and live it to the fullest. Admittedly, it is easier said than done.

MyLife is a new social network where one can easily find a lost love... a long lost friend, a college buddy, a previous employer or even a family member or relatives.

For all of our dental works, we could have paid thousands of dollars per year. So I am really thankful for our dental coverage at work. And since hubby and I both have separate plans, we got a 100% coverage.

I remember when we first moved here and got no benefits, we have to find some low cost health insurance. I believe that we need to have such coverage or we could end up not getting our teeth clean or we could end up broke.

One of our managers, who could be retiring soon, bought a motorcycle. One night, he decided to take his wife out for a spin. Turn out to be not a good idea since they got into an accident. His wife died on the spot. He was on rehab for a few months, and then decided to come back to work.

It was really a hard time, and if he lives in Oakland, he might be able to seek the services of an Oakland motorcycle accident lawyer and hopefully get some compensation back since he was at no fault. This happened 2 years ago.

"That some achieve great success, is proof to all that others can achieve it as well." by Abraham Lincoln
When I first started at my current job, 2.5 years ago, I've been hearing some people say: "I wanted to leave this job and find something better" and yet I still see them at work.

I always believe that "action speaks louder than words"... if you want something, just do it! If you set your mind into it, you will get it. But we should also remember that there may be things that is beyond our reach or that is simply not for us. Let go and move on!

Filing for a lawsuit can be hard on the family. It involves lots of time and money.

But if you were injured while at work, or if you were wrongfully dismissed without just cause, or you were in an accident totally not your fault, or you were involve in corporate harassment... wouldn't you want to be able to claim whatever is rightfully yours?

Some people who have the right to file a lawsuit don't do it. Why? Because they couldn't or wouldn't want to use their life savings or they simply don't have the money.

Here's good news! Ever heard of Orchard Funding? Orchard Funding will provide you with financial assistance to cover your living expenses during the course of your lawsuit. Lawsuit funding is a non-recourse cash advance on a pre-settlement lawsuit. This means that if you win, you pay them back, but if you don't win, you don't owe them anything. Good deal, right?

The process is very simple too. Simply fill out a form stating your case and lawyer's information. Then their representative together with you and your lawyer will meet to go over your case and documents. And if you meet their requirement, you could get your cash advance, lump sum within 24 hours.

"The trouble with not having a goal is that you can spend your life running up and down the field and never score." by Bill Copeland
I am trying to teach this one to my kids. But because of their age, I don't think they fully grasp what I was saying. Anyway, I remember that I was already in high school when I started thinking of what I wanted to become. And back then, it was just to be able to live and work abroad. Simple and yet it sounded impossible. But that was my goal. Thanks to my husband, I am living in that goal/dream right now.

Thought I'd share this really interesting video... did you know???

Interesting, right? Is it true? Does this information scares you?

I was browsing through my old photo albums this afternoon and realized that I have gained a lot of weight. Sometimes I think I am in denial. I mean, I knew I'm gaining weight and that my metabolism is slower since I'm older... but still, as long as I could fit into my old clothes, I don't think I should think about taking some appetite suppressant right now.

Halloween is fast approaching and my daughter has been asking me what kind of costume will she have this year. Well, I haven't really gone out and look for a costume for her. I was thinking of using the one she used last year, but she said "no". She wants a different costume this year. I guess it's time for me to go shopping.

Halloween, for me, is just a day where kids gets lots of candies and chocolates that are not good for their teeth. I wish that people will be more healthy conscious about the goodies that they give away on this "most-celebrated" holiday.

At Trick Or Treat Me, Hershey’s and Organic Valley wants you to give something healthy to the children by spreading the word about milk in single serve, shelf stable cartons. It's nutritious, healthy and delicious.

And the good part of this all is that every time you send a Trick Or Treat Me on Twitter, a donation will be made to the World Wildlife Fund on your behalf. So for those who are on twitter, please give this a try and help World Wildlife Fund.

Let us all take part in this all-around great campaign and share it with our love ones, relatives and friends.

By John Ruskin

In order that people may be happy in their work, these three things are needed:

~ they must be fit for it;

~ they must not do too much of it;

~ and they must have a sense of success in it - not a doubtful sense, such as needs some testimony of other people for its confirmation, but a sure sense, or rather knowledge, that so much work has been done well, and fruitfully done, whatever the world may say or think about it.

I wonder if there is such a thing as a perfect job. Sometimes, it is easy for people to love their jobs, but if the management *sucks*, then that's it. Even those who love their jobs will quit because of poor management.

Is this the perfect daughter or what???

I wonder if this is real? or a stage video? The mom seems surprised, but who is taking the video?

I am so glad my kids didn't do anything like this! Or I honestly wouldn't know what I would do to them.

My kids just love pizza. And when I don't have the time to cook or too lazy to cook, we would have pizza for either lunch or dinner. When they have playdates with their friends, pizza is what I serve. I have never seen a kid say no to pizza. We tried different brands like McCain, Delissio, and other store brand pizza, but Casa di Mama Pizza is their favorite pizza right now. They say it's the best pizza they've ever tasted.

Do you need a kitchen makeover but can't seem to afford it? Do you need new fridge or freezer, electric range, dishwasher or microwave? Most of my appliances are still new, but I would love to have an extra freezer since my side-by-side fridge got a really small freezer.

Well, here's a chance for you and me. I just sign up as one of the Savoury Moments Member. And as a member, you just need to simply pick up a PIN from specially marked packages of Casa di Mama Pizza. This will allow you to enter the Dr. Oetker Kitchen Makeover Contest for a chance to win $20,000 worth of kitchen makeover.

Hurry! You have until January 4, 2010 to enter as many PINs as you can! The more you enter, the more chances you got.

A four year old girl called 911 to ask for help with her Math problem....

Click here to hear the call. Unfortunately, I couldn't embed the video here.

You just gotta see this one!!! Guaranteed to make your day!

Three weeks into school... and so far so good. As I mentioned before, my son is off medication. And he has shown maturity and very responsible. I hope it stays that way so that I don't have to put him back on medication.

E-mails has been the primary way of communication between teachers and parents. And so far, I have not received any e-mails in a negative way. I hope that it stays this way till the end of school year.

My son is also part of his school's Junior Volleyball Team. And I think being part of a team is very good for him. Learning sportsmanship, being part of a team, and working with a team is what he needs to enhance his self-confidence and maturity.

A very inspiring song... gives hope and strength to those who are down and lost... and help you find your way back to His arms.

Winter is very early this year... we still haven't enjoyed the fall colors and yet, we just experienced our first snow for this winter! According to TheWeatherNetwork.com, here's our forecast for this coming week.

Brrrrr...... time to bring out our winter stuff and turn the heater on.

It is during this time that I wish we had an Amish fireplace to keep us warm.

Eliminate it once and for all. ACNEXUS is the first one step natural acne treatment designed and formulated for teenagers and adults. This product is currently selling at 50% off the regular price.
