My family and I love outdoors and trip out of town is more fun with friends around. Recently I found my group. 3 of my co-workers took interest in our trips and joined us in our last 2 trips. It was a blast!
They enjoyed themselves so much that they wanted me to plan trips out of Canada. They made me look at Las Vegas, New York or Gatlinburg vacations. The tentative date would be mid-April next year.
I just hope it pushes through.

We recently just came back from a 2 day out of town trip with some friends. And since there's 7 of us in an 8-seater van, I told everybody to travel light. It's about 6 hours drive and we wanted everybody to be comfortable during the trip. We also have another friend with a family of 4 who followed us in their truck. And there's just 4 of them, but it seems like they brought their whole kitchen with them. They also brought their truck accessories and tools which they don't really need during the trip. But have all the things that they will probably need in case of emergency.
My co-worker bought a 2-month old dog last month. I only worked with her once a week and so I always look forward to her stories about training her dog.
When she brought the dog to the vet for shots, she said that her dog was scared and even peed on her. It was like the dog knows the smell of the vet office already. Her dog also wet her bed since she sleeps with her. So she went to look at pet beds so she doesn't have to change her sheets in the middle of the night, again.

- I am grateful for a cool weather this week... it was so nice to be able to sleep in.
- I am grateful that my kids are consistently helping me with house chores.
- For my daughter's friends who showed up on her birthday party and made it a memorable day for her.
- For the perfect weekend getaway last week -- to Jasper National Park, Alberta.
- And for rapidshare... where I get to download movies for free! Just watched GI Joe last night.
A lot of my co-workers go camping. And they have been asking me to go camping with them. So what is it about camping that people like it so much?
I can't see the joy of sleeping in sleeping bags and tent, with trees and possible bugs all around you.
No bathrooms. And that is a foremost important thing for me where ever I go. A clean bathroom.
No electricity. I can't sleep with the lights on, so total darkness is fine with me. But no electricity means no fan, and no fan in the heat of summer? No thanks.
No shower/water. Enough said.
I know there are camping sites that have facilities. But if you go camping with facilities, why did you even go camping? Might as well stay at the comfort of my home! So to camping -- thanks but no thanks!
BUT camping with an RV... now, that is something that we can explore...

I am so excited. I am invited to a wedding! This is our 3rd wedding invitation sice we moved to Canada. And I just love weddings. Since Canada is multi-culture, weddings are very interesting to witness. This wedding that I'm going to attend will be my first to attend a Native Indian [the bride] wedding. The guy is from Spain.
I need to look for tuxedo pants for my husband. We don't want to be left out in a black tie wedding.
